European Imports - The Facts

As most people are now aware, there are huge savings to be made by sourcing a vehicle from a central European country.

Since the introduction of the treaty of Rome, as European citizens, we have all been able to exercise our right to free trade between EC states. This means that we can purchase any goods, in any EC country for use in the UK as long as it is legal to do so.

In the automobile market place, this can mean very substantial savings. The main reason for this is the very high rate of "Luxury Tax" (the equivalent of our VAT) that is applied to certain good in other EC Countries, typically 42.5%.

If you purchase goods which are to be used in another country, they are no longer liable for that country's taxation, tax is now payable in the country of use.

The vehicles we supply are full UK specification, (which means that they have a certificate of conformity for use in the EC) they come with a 3 year Land Rover World wide warranty, which should the need arise, be undertaken by any Land Rover dealer.

Servicing can & will be undertaken by your official Land Rover dealer.

How does it all works in practice?

	You choose the exact specification of vehicle you require
	We will send you an order form for you to complete, stating vehicle, specification, colour and any accessories that you may require.
	We will provide a price at a given exchange rate based on the Euro.
	You then pay a 15% deposit on order
	We place your order with our supplier, and confirmation given.

How long does delivery take?

The average lead-time from order to actual receipt of vehicle is approximately 12-16 weeks; this can vary and is a factor that we have no control over, however following the recent run in the media regarding alleged delaying tactics by manufacturers, we have seen a marked improvement in delivery times.

Will I be the first registered keeper?

Once the vehicle is ready for shipping we will register the vehicle in your name, as the first registered keeper.

How much will my final balance be?

Your final balance will vary depending on currency Exchange Rate fluctuations at the time. Final balance can be paid in full in Euros or Pounds.

These vehicles are available at shorter lead times, often immediately if from stock and with typical savings of £1,500 to £3,500 off the Land Rover Recommended Retail price.
